Rose Painted Calathea
This stunning compact shade plant has rose/pink coloured ornamental leaves with the underside - a beautiful maroon colour. It is from the family of prayer plants (folds it’s foliage at night). Grows to 6-12 inches. NB: The plant you purchase will be a nursery bought one not the plant pictured in photography
Light: Low to medium light (avoid direct sun). Likes warm and humid environment. Water: Small amount consistently (do not overwater). Let dry out between waters (just the top of soil).  Mist regularly if air humidity is low or place in bathroom. Feed: Dilute foliage fertiliser - feed 2-3 times during summer. Prune: Remove dead leaves to keep plant looking its best. Pests: Spider mite - check regularly
