DESPATCH & SHIPPING POLICY

NON-LIVING ORDERS
Purchases that are not perishable will be dispatched  within approx. 2-3 working days from your order date.

PLANT ORDERS
Orders that consist of living plants will be shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays (taking approx. 2-4 business days to arrive from dispatch). We aim to ship all orders within 3-5 work days after us confirming receipt of the order - this is an estimate only.
If your plant order is placed after MONDAY 12 NOON - it will be dispatched the following Monday.

Despatching on Monday and Tuesday will allow enough time to ensure that your plant will arrive before the weekend avoiding being left in the depot for longer than necessary.
 
​​The delivery service provider we use is NZ Couriers. We recommend opting for a signature on delivery for security and peace of mind for both ourselves and the customer. If you choose to not sign for your product, we will not take responsibility if it is delivered and goes missing once it has been delivered. 
When checking out please supply us with a physical residential address, or a workplace where there will be someone present to sign for your item between the delivery hours of 9-5pm weekdays.
All orders are couriered with NZ Couriers  and a confirmation email with your courier tracking details will be provided when your order is dispatched. Check your e mails so that you can track your order and know when it is due to arrive.

If there is a delay in making delivery due to product being out of stock, you will be notified as early as possible, and you will be given the option to cancel the order and  receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges) in relation to the product/s that cannot be delivered within the estimated delivery time.

NB: We are unable to deliver to a PO BOX address. 
​NB: We will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you.

SHIPPING COSTS
Courier costs are calculated at checkout dependant on size and destination.



 

 

DELIVERY:
We will endeavour to ship all orders within 3-7 working days from the day you place an order to purchase the Goods.

Deliveries will be made by the Carrier to the address stipulated in your order.

​Goods are sent at our risk until signed for by you or by any other person at the address you have given to us. You should ensure that someone is present to accept the delivery - as a signature is recommended. If you forego signing for your purchase, Three Spades Design is not liable for it going missing after it has been delivered to your address.

If we are not able to deliver your Goods within 7 days of the date of your order, we shall notify you by e-mail to arrange another date for delivery.
All Goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the Goods may be retained by the driver. When your Goods arrive, it is important that you check immediately the condition and quantity. If your Goods have been damaged in transit, you must inform us via e-mail within 48 hours including a photograph of the damage supporting your claim.

Goods are sent by NZ Couriers. We will send you a message by email to tell you when we have despatched your order.

If we agree with you to deliver on a particular day or at a particular time, we will do our best to comply. But no time given is to be treated as contractual. So we are not liable to you for any expense or inconvenience you incur on account of delayed delivery or non-delivery.

RETURN, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Due to the fragility of plants / planters, your order cannot be exchanged or returned should you change your mind.

​Our plants are packaged in an upright cardboard box with either air bags/polysterine or paper to ensure they are not damaged in transit - marked clearly 'LIVING PLANTS - FRAGILE - THIS WAY UP'.

A minor amount of damage may occur depending on the plant. 
In the unlikely occurrence your plant is damaged in transit please email us at: rochellenoble@threespadesdesign.co.nz with a photograph of any  damage that has occurred to enable us to inform our courier company. This must be lodged with us within 48 hours of delivery of the plant. We can then replace or refund your purchase.


NB: Send photographic evidence for our insurance and for ease of communication.
If a plant is being returned due to damage, it must be returned in its original packaging.
All items returned are required to be tracked.
 
​Products purchased 'on sale' are strictly non-refundable.​


RETURNS:
Please be sure you have purchased the correct product, as once the purchase is in our system - cancellations and exchanges cannot be made.
This includes if you have a change of mind or have anticipated a bigger or smaller plant (plants will be purchased from nurseries and the size of the pot will be stated in the plant copy - they MAY differ from the size of the photographed plant on the website).
We take every care to that the description and colour of the products displayed on our website are true, however, while we do our best to ensure a close representation we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by browser software or computer.
